Webinar on International Journal Writing: Harnessing AI Quillbot, Zotero, and Origin for Academic Excellence
Lhokseumawe, October 11, 2024 – The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Malikussaleh (Unimal) hosted a groundbreaking webinar titled "Training on International Journal Writing: Using AI Quillbot for Paraphrasing, Zotero for Citations, and Origin for Data Analysis and Graphs." The event took place online via Zoom, starting at 2:00 PM and continuing until completion.
The webinar aimed to enhance the skills of academics, researchers, and students in writing and publishing high-quality international journals. It introduced the latest tools and technologies to support the writing process and data analysis, including AI-driven Quillbot for effective paraphrasing, Zotero for streamlined citation management, and Origin for advanced data analysis and visualization.
The event featured three distinguished speakers:
- Dr. Muhammad Iqhramullah, one of the top 2% researchers globally and an experienced scientific publication consultant.
- Dr. Fahrizal Nasution, a Chemical Engineering lecturer from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK).
- Dr. Firda Tirta Yani, a Chemical Engineering lecturer from Unimal and the event’s main coordinator.
The webinar commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Ing. Sofyan, S.T., M.T., Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering at Unimal. In his address, he emphasized the importance of mastering international journal writing to boost academic reputation and contribute to scientific advancements.
The webinar garnered significant interest, the event aimed to inspire and equip participants with new insights and skills to enhance the quality of their scientific publications at the international level.
